actually, bon jovi didn’t pack in the arenas until late ‘86/’87…that hardly makes him a king of the whole decade. i was a teenager throughout the 80’s and i remember going to concertsof all types. you like bon jovi? cool, i do to. but by the time he got big bon jovi was considered a ‘hair band’ and any self respecting rocker was laughing at him.
Honestly, I sometimes think MTV ruined music. Before them, there was a natural filter that kept the shitty bands/singers from gaining prominence and lingering around. Sure, they existed, but without long term exposure (ala MTV back when they played music), they faded into obscurity. Was MTV really worth it? :\

Yeah from 83 to 89 i remember quite well.That was from 5 to 11 years old.There’s just no way i could forget those days, because i married my first crush who was in my first grade class.But hey we all have different tastes in music.You can’t just tell people that they have bad taste just because you like different songs. it doesn’t work that way retard

Little Boy? i’m 31 dude. i grew up in the 90’s for crying out loud.But i remember alot in the 80’s because i was 11 when the 80’s ended and thats old enough to remember what the 80’s were like

I’m not trying to act racist or anything,but i think they should only have rap on BET. you know just keep all the rap on BET and nothing but Rock on MTV. Just a suggestion.
Yeah i wish musicians could make rock like they did back when MTV first came out.Rock today just isn’t as great as the 80’s were.

Dire Straits are a legendary band impressive. This song is great. The electric guitar sounds at the beginning is pure energy. It’s a great song played by Dire Straits. THE BEST!!!
